Consider asking for a room on a lower floor to avoid the stairs, as the hotel lacks proper lift facilities.

The hotel features spacious and comfortable rooms with beautiful grounds that are perfect for outdoor activities. I faced issues with cleanliness in the gym and inconsistent Wi-Fi connection, which impacted my stay. Despite these areas for improvement, the breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options.

great base for exploring parks and landmarks nearby
I was really impressed with the spacious, comfortable room and the excellent breakfast offered during my stay, making it a perfect spot for relaxing after a day of walking to attractions like the beautiful Robinswood Hill Country Park, just under 4 km away, and the historic Gloucester Cathedral, about 5.5 km away. it's a great place for single travelers who love discovering city gems, but the hotel could improve its dining options a bit.

We enjoyed the spacious Classic Family Room, which was perfect for our stay with plenty of room for our kids and pet. The outdoor space was fantastic for letting our furry friend run around, and the staff provided excellent service, especially at breakfast.
In my wife’s opinion, the layout can be a bit challenging for families. A more direct route to the rooms would be great, especially when carrying a few bags and kids.

great service but some room for improvement
The staff made our stay enjoyable, especially Keira, who provided attentive service throughout dinner. The private pod dining experience was a highlight, offering a romantic setting with a lovely view of the garden.
The room, while clean, could benefit from a few additional amenities.

The location absolutely stood out, nestled in gorgeous parkland and offering lovely views of the gardens. The room was quite comfortable and had a great layout. I enjoyed the tea and coffee facilities, and the bed felt clean and cozy. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of fresh food options and delightful variety. I faced issues with the evening meal. On the first night, my dish arrived missing a key ingredient, which took a long time to rectify. The second night was just as disappointing. the food was overcooked and unappetizing. Service at dinner was slow, and I noticed too many mistakes in orders around me. The lack of a lift was inconvenient, especially carrying luggage up to my room. Despite friendly staff overall, not all were welcoming, particularly at the bar. The hotel's decor felt a tad worn in places, needing some touch-ups.

Had a nice stay for 2 nights in a classic double room. The grounds are super well-kept, and the decor in the room was really nice. Plus, the bed was super comfy! We ordered room service for breakfast, and it was tasty. A little bummed there was no lift to the top floor, though. a good experience!
